Chiropractic is an all natural, drug-free approach to healing
Chiropractic care for pain relief
Most people seek out chiropractic care due to an unwanted pain or symptom. Which makes sense - when you are in pain every area of your life is effected! Pain and symptoms can make you feel irritated, depressed, anxious, distracted, unproductive, limited and separated from your normal life. Plus, they restrict what you are able to do and likely prevent you from participating in activities you love. In worst case scenarios, major episodes of pain or unwanted symptoms can bring your life to a screeching halt.
Dr. Maddie’s goal in the pain relief phase of care is to provide all natural, drug-free pain relief so that you can start feeling better as soon as possible. She knows how terrible being in pain can be and understands that you need to get back to doing the things you love. In this phase of care, she also recommend at-home exercises, stretches and lifestyle changes to accelerate the healing process.
What types of pain can chiropractic help?
Shoulder pain
The shoulder joint is one of the most mobile joints in the body, which is why we can move our arms in so many directions. However, with increased mobility comes decreased stability. This makes the shoulder very prone to injury. Chiropractic can help address the shoulder itself as well as the surrounding structures which may also be playing a role. Chiropractic promotes true healing by focusing on the body as a whole, integrated system.
Neck pain
The increasing use of technology causes us to look down more often and leads to wear & tear on the muscles, ligaments, bones and joints of the neck. Over time these tissues can become tight, irritated, dysfunctional or experience degeneration, resulting in pain and limited mobility that gets worse over time. The best way to manage and avoid neck pain is by addressing the underlying structural issues. Chiropractic care is the most direct method for providing instant relief as well as long term improvement.
Back pain
Back pain is the leading cause of disability and one of the most common causes for missing work. The majority of back pain is caused by a mechanical or structural problem, meaning there is no underlying condition or disorder creating the pain. This is great news because that means it is treatable and preventable. Proper posture, the right combination of stretches and exercises coupled with regular body work, such as chiropractic care, helps eliminate back pain and prevent future pain.
Sciatica
When the sciatica nerve becomes irritated it causes pain, burning, tingling and/or numbness that can travel all the way from the hip down the leg. Sciatica can go from annoying to absolutely debilitating and it is not something you want to ignore. Oftentimes, structural imbalances in the low back or hips plays a major role in the presence of sciatica. Chiropractic adjustments restore proper alignment of the spine and pelvis which aid in resolving sciatica symptoms.
TMJ
TMJ disorder, or temporomandibular joint disorder, is when the joints between the manidble, or jaw, and the skull are not moving properly. This results in popping, clicking, pain or even dislocation. TMJ disorder can be difficult to treat but chiropractic care can help.
Headaches & Migraines
Whether you suffer from mild headaches or debilitating migraines, chiropractic has been shown to be extremely effective at eliminating these unwanted symptoms. Many headaches or migraines are triggered by tension in the spine or an overactive stress response. Regular chiropractic care realigns the spine and improves your body's ability to handle stress, helping to keep you headache-free.
Words from patients
“Dr. Maddie is so compassionate and attentive. I came in for a volleyball injury and she asked really amazing questions to figure out how to best support me. Her adjustments are gentle and efficient. They are so different than any other chiropractic care I’ve experienced with the loud pops and cracks. I would highly recommend her to my friends and family!”

“Dr. Maddie is a talented chiropractor and an incredible person. I always leave feeling physically and mentally better! I started seeing Dr. Maddie because I had been dealing with sciatica for over a year. Since I started seeing her twice a month, I haven't had any sciatica issues or problematic back pain. Dr. Maddie is such a healer and I'm so thankful to be one of her patients!”

“When I first saw Dr. Maddie, I had bad hip pain that was causing an imbalance when lifting and working out. Today, I have little to no pain, and am completely balanced! I have also had TMJ issues and pain for years, and it was worse than it had ever been before I met Dr. Maddie, who adjusted my jaw and gave me massages to do on my own. Thanks to her, I can finally chew without pain! I recently injured my shoulder, and Dr. Maddie is also helping me with that. I look forward to seeing her, not only because she provides amazing care and adjustments depending on my needs that visit, but also because her overall energy is uplifting and peaceful. I highly recommend Dr. Maddie to my friends and family.”
